Busy Busy

We have not been doing much this week. I usually clean on Mondays, but the weather was so nice yesterday. The boys and I spent most of the day outside playing. We had a blast. Max did push Crocker over in his chair. Crocker got a little scrape on his knee.
Today, I have been cleaning and doing laundry. Max has been at school and Crocker has been rolling around. He also sat up for about 15-20 seconds by himself! YAY!

P.S. That wet spot on his onesie is not pee. It is drool. He just laid down from sitting up. He is a drooling machine these days.

Sheldon and I have been talking about putting Crocker in school with Max. We have been going back and forth between him staying home and going 2 days a week. He ultimately left the decision up to me. Well, I have decided to keep him home. I am just not ready to send him off for 2 days a week.It is hard enough leaving him for the hour we are in church. He will be going in August. The early registration is in April. Crocker and Max will both have a reserved spot for August.

Strawberry Picking

We recently went strawberry picking. Max had a blast and loved his little bucket. He would not have any help carrying it.
He is also a master strawberry picker. He loves strawberries as much as I do and he definitely had a few bites whole he was working. I was his partner. I would look over and see him pick a strawberry, take a bite, and throw it in his bucket. He was enjoying his work!

Jump Daddy

Max loves to jump around the house. He jumps from one room to another. Sheldon started jumping with him today.

Cake Baking

Sheldon got home early today and he was hungry for cake. We decided to bake a Funfetti. Max is really good at pouring ingredients and stirring. Today, Sheldon let him use the mixer.

Our finished cake. I need to take a class on icing cakes.

I am in desperate need of a cake stand. I had to improvise.

Easter Countdown

Max was at school today, so I made the most of my time. I have been doing laundry, running errands, and making crafts.
I made this Easter countdown today. It was super easy and I filled the eggs with candy. As the boys get older, I will put little toys and coupons for treats out in the eggs.

Little Baby Update

Crocker is feeling better each day. His wheezing is still there, but he sounds a lot better. He has only thrown up 1 bottle since Monday. So, that is a MAJOR improvement.

Picnic Lunch

It has been pretty crappy weather all week. Crocker is back on 2 a day treatments with a double medicine each time. I was giving him one the other day and Max wanted to eat lunch. I fixed him a picnic and he loved it. He thought it was great to get to eat his lunch and watch a video.

Back to the Doctor

Crocker went to the doctor again this morning. The doctor we saw was really nice and I am so pleased with the outcome. When he walked in, I told him Crocker's symptoms, and told him not to tell me that he had broncholitis. Well, he did not. Thank goodness. he thinks Crocker is wheezing because of allergies or acid reflux. He prescribed 3 medicines, so hopefully this will clear him up.

Sick... Again

Crocker is sick again. He started feeling bad last week and has just gotten worse. So, we are going back to the doctor for the 5th time tomorrow.

He only wants to be held, so We have been doing a lot of this.

The only time I am not holding him is when he is asleep, which he has been doing a lot of.

So Cute

Crocker is the cutest little baby.

Mini- Vacation

Sheldon was in Shreveport this week. When he found out he was going to be there for awhile, he called and wanted us to come up. Max was on Spring Break this week, so it was the perfect time for a getaway!

He had a day off while we were there, so we went to the Boardwalk. It is an outdoor mall. I did not have enough room for the double stroller as well as our suitcases and Corny's cage. We found this shopping cart in the parking lot, so we made do.

We saw a Build A Bear and decided to let Max make one. He picked a bright yellow chicken and named him Chinka.

Sheldon had to work the next day, so we played around and hung out at the hotel. We did leave for a little while, so the lady could clean our room. It was so nice to leave a room with an unmade bed and trash in the trashcans and to come back when the bed was made and trash was emptied. It really solidified it for me that I need a cleaning lady. ha

The best part of the trip for Max was being in charge of Corny. Sheldon always had some type of crap to carry in or out. I always had to carry the baby, so that left Max to walk Popcorn. It was like the blind leading the blind. Half of the time Max drug Popcorn around and the rest Popcorn was dragging Max around.

Delicious Cake

The other day, Max kept telling me he wanted some delicious cake. We did not have any cake mix, so we made blueberry muffins. He helped me make them. He dumped ingredients into the bowl, helped stir, and had so much fun. After they were done baking, I gave him one to eat.
Crocker was not feeling well that day and I had to give him a treatment. When I was done, I heard Max in the kitchen. I went in there and 5 muffins were gone from the pan. I followed the trail of crumbs into the playroom and found him snacking on a muffin.
I sent him to his room and began cleaning up the mess. I found 2 muffins in the sink with bites out of them. I guess they were not good enough. ha.
After his time out, he came out into the kitchen and said "Yummy muffins". ha. I am glad that he enjoyed them.

Sunday Fun Day

Well we did not make it to the beach, but we still had a great day.

We went to church this morning. The message was so good and the kids loved the nursery.
Crocker is getting loved on by someone other than mama.

We came home, ate lunch, and then the boys and I took a nap. Sheldon went out to mow and use the weed eater. (Gotta keep him busy while he is home! ha)

After nap, we played around outside, took the Easter card pictures, and grilled out.
Sheldon got fresh corn at the store and it was so good.

We are loving this warm weather and are taking advantage of it!

What did we do today???

Sheldon has been out of town all week, so the boys and I have been pretty lonely. He got home late last night.
It was so pretty today and in the 70's, so we went to the zoo. (Those season passes were the best deal ever!!!)

The 1st stop as usual was the seals.

We went to look at them and then I looked down and Max's 3 rings were in the seal pool. Whoops.

We got out of there and were on our way.

A bald eagle and Max in the eagle's nest.

Max seeing the elephants. Today he watched the elephant take a poo and pee. That is all he want to talk about.
