Moving

For the past 4 years, we have lived in a little town in the Texas Panhandle. We lived 5 miles from the Oklahoma border. The closest grocery store was 16 miles away and the closest Walmart was 45 miles away. We loved loved our little town.

While we lived there, Sheldon switched companies and commuted to Oklahoma City every week. After 3 years of traveling, we decided it was time to make the move and live closer to his job. We started house hunting in February and our house in Texas sold within a week.

We had to be out the middle of April and the house we are buying will not be ready until mid-May. Things are crazy right now, but the end of the craziness is in sight.

We packed up the basement first and stored everything in the garage for a couple of weeks. We packed up all of the toys and played many games of hide and seek. This was Sheldon's hiding spot.

We took the kids to the movies on the way to look at houses.

We also stopped on the side of the road to take a picture in the field of flowers. It was a tad but windy that day.

The kids had their last day at school and Max had one last sleepover.

We said goodbye to our house and took a picture before hitting the road.

Eli was worn out from all of the stress and packing. ha ha

We are homeschooling the kids until the end of the year. We stayed in Oklahoma City with Sheldon for a week and then came to TN for a couple of weeks. We will just be back and forth until our home is ready.
