Christmas Eve

We had a pretty lazy day on Christmas Eve.
My mom baked with the boys and we played some games. We got my parents hooked on Sequence, so we played that a lot during their visit.

The boys were singing at church on Christmas Eve, so I had them practice their song (Away in a Manger) 2 or so times.

My parents took a few family pictures of us.

Side note, Crocker gave himself a black eye with a cut on Christmas Eve Eve. My parents gave him a spiderman toy and he threw it up in the air and obviously didn't catch it.

The boys looked so cute singing and they did a great job! Photobucket
We lit candles at the end of the service and Crocker looked so so sweet. Photobucket
After church, the boys were down getting their pj's on and we heard jingle bells upstairs. Sheldon and I snuck them up the stairs and we saw Santa putting their presents out. Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket We had a couple of very excited boys on our hands Christmas Eve.

Christmas Eve Eve

We opened presents from my mom and dad on Christmas Eve Eve.

The boys received scooters which the have loved! They have been riding the heck out of those things.

Sheldon got a replica of Uncle Si's tea glass from the show Duck Dynasty. It is his favorite show and he was so so thrilled!

Later that night, the boys opened a pair of Christmas pj's.

Then, Santa showed up to make sure their Christmas lists were correct. The boys were super thrilled and Eli was fascinated with him.

Christmas Visit

We had such a nice Christmas.

My parents came into town to spend the holiday with us and we had a great time. We didn't tell the boys they were coming, so they were so surprised and excited when they walked through the door.

We played games, opened presents, cooked, and just enjoyed spending time together.

Max had his school Christmas program last week.
They sang a few songs and put on a play.
He was so so thrilled that his dad was home and able to attend his program.
All the kids did a great job, but Max was by far the cutest! Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket

Merry Christmas from our family to yours!

Max participates in a community choir each week and this past Sunday was their Christmas program.

A couple of his friends are in the choir and he really enjoys going. They did "The Reluctant Innkeeper". It was super cute and they all did a great job! Photobucket Photobucket

The little boys did great at the program. Crocker sat so still and quiet and Eli was pretty content too.

After the program, we ate lunch and then Santa came to visit. Crocker was so thrilled and was the first one in line to see him!

Eli didn't get to see Santa. He was sitting in Sheldon's lap almost asleep. We have a couple other times to see Santa in the works, so he will not be missing out.

We have been keeping ourselves pretty busy and gearing up for Christmas.

Sheldon and I celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary on Dec 17. We had a great day. Both big boys went to school, so we took Eli and went out to breakfast. Sheldon kept up the tradition of 1 rose per year of marriage.

One rose wants to hide.

We had a great day and I am so thankful for him.

Eli has taken 3 steps on his own (Dec. 17), so I have no doubt he will be walking soon. He is cruising around and can crawl super fast.

Max and Crocker have been spending their time playing legos and playing games on their leap pad/ipad that I can't even play.

We are enjoying the last week of school and then it's out for 2 weeks. I am looking forward to having all the boys home.

The school shooting in Newtown has really shaken me. I taught 1st grade and I cannot imagine the horror the school went through.
Max is the age of some of the victims and I cannot imagine getting that call. When I dropped him off at school on Monday, the tears just fell.
I feel so bad for the families and hope that they can feel all the prayers from the nation on their behalf.

Fun Weekend

Sheldon has been super busy at work the past couple of months. He has been working long days, so we haven't been able to spend a lot of time as a family.
He was able to take Saturday off and we went into the big city near our home. We were gone all day and we had the best time. We shopped, ate at our favorite restaurant, and really enjoyed all of our time together.

Date with #2

Crocker and I went on a little day date today. It was spur of the moment, but we had the best time. We went to the grocery store and then out to lunch.

Photobucket

He had the best time in the car singing his 2 favorite songs over and over. We turned the music up loud and he just sang his heart out!

Photobucket

I took a couple pictures of his favorite songs, so I wouldn't forget in the months to come.

He wanted to eat lunch at Pizza Hut, so that's what we did. We colored, ate pizza, and had such a fun lunch.

Crocker and I had such a good time and I am so thankful for a date with my second son.

I am very happily married to my wonderful husband Sheldon. I love my job as a stay at home mom to my 3 boys, Max, Crocker, and Eli. I love: Jesus. a clean house. sewing. a home cooked meal. diet dr. pepper. girls nights. a good pedicure. chick-fil-a. target.
