A New Face for President.

You are never too young. My dad sent this to me in an email and it is too funny.

Happy Birthday Mama

Today is my mom's birthday. We had a little party for her on Friday night so Sheldon could be there. It was really fun. We Love You!

Sick Little Man

Max is really sick. He has an ear and sinus infection. The night before last, he sat up all night crying. Sheldon was so good with him. He sat up rocking and comforting him. He also went and sat with him for 3 hours at the doctor yesterday.
Max is feeling a little better today. His fever broke last night, so that is good. It has been between 102-103 for a little over 24 hours.
He is playing a little today, so that is always good.

School

We have been in school for almost 2 full weeks. It is really fun and I am loving it. The kids are so good for the most part.
We have had a few bumps in the road though. I have had a few kids pee their pants, so that is never good. They just kill me because they peed their pants on the way to the bathroom. I also have a beautician in my room. She got her scissors and was cutting a little boys hair. He did not want his hair to be cut. So, she was in a world of trouble.
Sheldon has been home for the past few weeks. It has been so fun. He has to go back soon and that will suck. Max and I will be lost.

Our Little Beaver

Max has turned into a little beaver. I cannot figure out how to stop him for gnawing on his bed. If any of you know how, please let me know.

Home for a Visit

Sheldon is back in TN for a visit. He is home for a few weeks and then back to GA to clear post and sign out of the Army. He drove his new truck home and it is nice. I am glad that he was able to buy it.

Yesterday, we went to my parents house. My sister and her family were there, so Max and Ryne were able to play together.

My parents took all of us out for an adults only dinner to welcome Sheldon home. It was really fun.

After dinner, Sheldon and I went to the fair. We go there just when the rodeo was starting. I had not ever been to one before, so it was fun to watch.

Mrs. Hoesli's 1st Grade

Whew. My room is finished. I still have odd and end things to finish up, but for the most part I am done.

The front of my door. Swim into 1st Grade

The back of my door. It says Ms. Hoesli's School.

Math meeting board. We use Saxon math and the meeting is a big thing. To the right is the birthday bears. Below the bulletin board is my discipline.

The front of the room.

The students desks and Academic Vocabulary bulletin board.

My desk, the listening center, and word wall.

Peek A Boo

Max thinks it is so fun to play peek a boo. He is learning how to cover up his own eyes when I say, "Where's Max?".

Cheese...

My mom and dad came up to visit on Sunday. My dad lowered Max's bed for me. Max was able to bend over and pat the outside, so it needed to be lowered badly. Popcorn decided to try it out too.

Cat Scan

Max went to have a cat scan today. His head circumference measures off the charts every time he has a well baby check-up, so the doctor ordered it as a precaution. She ordered him to be sedated, so this morning we went to the Pediatric ICU. When we got there, we were told that he could not have sedation because he has a cold. I think it is allergies, but that is another story. Anyways, we decided to try the CT without sedation instead of having to reschedule. So, they strapped him down to a board to be used as a restraint. They started the machine and Max did not even cry. He laid there so still and let me rub his leg. I am so proud of him and thankful that he had this cold.
