Night Away

Sheldon had his work Christmas Party last night in the city. We found friends to take the kids overnight and drove up yesterday morning. We went to the mall, ate lunch, and went to our hotel to get ready for dinner.
Dinner was super fun and it was nice to meet all the men Sheldon works with and their wives.
All the kids had a blast at their sleepovers. Max went home with a friend from school. They played and then made pies.

Eli went to school with Crocker yesterday and today. Then they went to spend the night with Crocker's best friend.

Sheldon and I had so much fun and it was nice to get away for the night!

Christmas Card Pictures

We took the kids outside to get a few pictures. They all did so good and we were only out there maybe 15 minutes. I think it took longer to get them all ready then it did to snap the pictures. We got several good pictures!

Deep Sea Fishing

A couple of months ago, Sheldon flew down to Houston for work. While he was there, he went deep sea fishing with a couple of guys he works with. It was red snapper season and they caught several of them. They also caught several amberjack.

Treat

My boys love any excuse to celebrate!

They love birthdays, holidays, and any ordinary day that we deem worthy enough for a special treat. We love to pick out gifts and special cards for our loved ones.

I was recently introduced to Treat. The kids had so much fun looking at their website and selecting the perfect card for their Grandpa.

They were so excited when they found the perfect card!

We browsed the cards a little more and found the perfect card for their Dad's birthday!
How cute would this card be customized with my boys pictures!

Max and Crocker can't wait until more birthdays come rolling around and they are able to pick out more unique, personalized cards!

Trip to Kansas

Last weekend, we made a quick trip to Kansas.  As usual we had a blast and I didn't take hardly any pictures.

Max wanted to sit in the middle, so we let him. About an hour into the trip, Max was complaining about no leg room and Sheldon was complaining about Max kicking the back of his seat. This was Sheldon's solution.

We had to make a quick stop and move Max to the back. We made it to Kansas and spent the weekend eating, playing games, and visiting.

As usual, we had so much fun and were so sad to come back home!

Happy Halloween!

The boys all had a fun Halloween week. Our church had a carnival. The big boys got their faces painted and looked awesome as Batman and a pirate. The carnival had games and prizes, but all Crocker wanted to do was the cake walk. For several rounds, he was the only one participating and he was thrilled to win so many times.

Max's school went to sing at the local nursing home on Halloween.

The kids both wore their costumes to school on Halloween. Max was Spiderman and Crocker was Bumblebee.

We went trick or treating on Halloween night. Max had a costume change and went as a cowboy. It was hard for him to be Spiderman because he couldn't wear his glasses with the mask. So, he decided to wear a costume that didn't need a mask. Crocker still was Bumblebee and Eli was the cutest Mickey Mouse I ever did see!

Max's pumpkin he painted for school broke open and started to rot, so Sheldon took him out and let him shoot it before we threw it away!
