Sick Weekend

We had a fun weekend planned, but that all came to a screeching halt late Friday night.

Max woke up with a stomach bug. It was not pretty and poor Sheldon was scrubbing the carpet and making a Gatorade run at midnight. Max seems to be on the mend now, but still has a lingering fever. I have been disinfecting everything in sight to try and keep the little two from catching it. Photobucket Photobucket

We have been laying low today and it has actually been nice. Maybe Max's sickness was a blessing in disguise.

Around Here

We went to the high school pep rally a few days ago and the boys loved it! Crocker was a little concerned when the band started up, but he quickly got used to it.

Halloween may be over, but our love of dress up continues.

All my boys playing Legos. I have a feeling this will not be the last time I see all 3 boys knee deep in Legos.

Eli and Mommy at the grocery one chilly morning.

Max's recent homework was to disguise a turkey. He wanted to disguise it as Hulk and I think he did a great job. He did it all with minimal help.

Veterans Day Program

Last Friday, Max's school had a special Veterans Day lunch. They sent invitations to all the Veterans and had a catered lunch.
Sheldon and I were going to attend, but at the last minute he could not get away from work. I got a sitter for C and E and went to the lunch to represent us both.
Max did such a great job and I made sure to take plenty of pictures and video for his daddy.

* In all of the pictures, Max is in the front row beside a little girl with a blue sparkle shirt on. He has on a red shirt with a flag on it.

Hodge Podge

This is a hodge podge post of pictures from the past few weeks.

Eli is on the move and he usually is sporting a bump or bruise somewhere. This day, he had a huge one on his face.

The boys have a new found love for their trains.

Max got in trouble one day for kicking a ball inside and a few days later, he kicked a ball inside of a friend's house. He broke a picture frame and did chores to earn money to replace it. Over the course of a few days, he cleaned the baseboards upstairs and downstairs. He took the money he earned over to his friend's house to pay for the frame. He learned a big lesson and I hope he will remember it.

Photobucket

I made 5 dozen rice krispie treats in about 3 days. They went to Max's school, Crocker's school, and to Sheldon. He loves loves rice krispie treats!

Max was super tired one morning and not feeling all that great. So, he had his 1st sick day from school. He was pretty bummed because he loves school. He got over it quickly when he realized that he could play Mario during sick days.

Eli goes to bed super early, around 5:30-6. One night I was cleaning up the kitchen after dinner and he was out cold. He woke up from his little nap and went to bed!

The town had a parade for football homecoming. Crocker rode on the float and enjoyed eating suckers.

Ready or Not!

Eli is on the move!

Eli is our most mobile child at 9 months old.
He is crawling lightning fast, pulling up, climbing all over things, and starting to cruise around the furniture. He is definitely keeping us on our toes!

Halloween 2012

Halloween has come and gone and we had a great one.

The boys both wore their costumes to school and had class parties. Crocker's class was super cute and his teacher even dressed up!

Max's school went to the local nursing home to sing spooky songs they had been learning. Max did a great job and sung his little heart out.

I was in charge of both boy's class parties and they both turned out well. I am glad they are over though!

We took the boys trick or treating last night and they thought they were big stuff. They had a ball and will want to go everyday, I am sure.
