Naughty

Crocker has been spending quite of bit of time here;

as a result of playing in this.

He loves digging in the trashcan. We have had to put out trashcan in the laundry room to keep him out of it!

Summer Reading

Max has been participating in the summer reading program through out local library. He reads books (or has them read to him) and in return earns prizes for all the books he has read.
He has done so good and has been enjoying going to the library with his list to pick out more books. He has earned tattoos, play dough, bubbles, and a pass to the swimming pool.

His favorite prize was an ice cream cone from a local store. He was thrilled when it was finally time to cash in his prize. The cone was huge, but he managed to eat it!

Crafts

We invited a few friends over the other day to make flags. They turned out really cute!

Crocker spent most of his time playing in the paint and eating his Popsicle.

After the big kids made their flags, they were off swimming and playing.

Max's flag turned out so good and it was such a fun project!

Father's Day

We had a great time celebrating Father's Day on Sunday. Sheldon was able to be home, so we made the most of his time off. We went to church, took naps, and I cooked a big dinner for him.

Max was excited that Sheldon was home to play water guns with him.

We had a great day and I am so thankful that my boys have an awesome daddy!

Special Delivery

The boys got a special package this week. They waited patiently until Friday when Sheldon could put their surprise together.

Grandpa and Nana could not have picked a better surprise for them. They got right in and took off. Max is a good driver and does a good job steering when Crocker isn't shifting the gears.

They even had a passenger in the bed of the truck. I was really surprised that Popcorn would sit and ride, but he loved it!

The boys love love their new truck and I know they will put many miles on it this summer!

Hot Days

The temperatures have been reaching 90-100 most days. Max always likes to tell me that, "It's a hot day for a nice cold Popsicle." I could not agree more. Crocker has mastered eating Popsicle's by himself. Popcorn is usually the recipient of some of it too.

Happy Birthday!

We celebrated my birthday this past Wednesday. Sheldon was able to spend the day with us and we were all excited.
The boys and I got up and went walking with a group of friends. Then, we came home to get ready for the day.
We headed out to get donuts. The boys were estatic! We had not had donuts since we moved from Houston. I was able to get big big smiles from both of them.

We went to a few stores, shopped, and had lunch. There are not many places to choose from when you want to eat out, so we just ate at McDonald's. The boys were so happy to eat chicken nuggets!

We came home, took naps, and Sheldon grilled out for supper. We all had such a good day and it was a happy birthday!

Surprise

Sheldon threw a surprise birthday party for me this past weekend. He invited 3 other families. We had 8 adults and 10 kids at out home and we had a blast.
He grilled out steaks, potatoes, and corn on the cob.

One of the girls made a cake and it was so cute!

The kids played together so well and wore themselves out playing outside!

We all had such a fun time and I am so thankful for my surprise!

Baseball and Sickness

Max is still having fun playing t ball. He finally got his hat and shirt. He looks pretty official in his uniform.

Crocker has had allergy issues the past few days. Most of his days have been spent looking like this. He has been so pitiful, but thankfully he is on the mend.

Sheldon was more than happy to snuggle Crocker while he was sick.

The boys love to watch Dinosaur Train and it is one of their favorite shows.
