Christmas Trip Day 6

My mom and I went to get our nails done and I came home to a huge Christmas gift. Sheldon surprised me with a new car!

Max loves his new ride, even if this picture doesn't show it!

My parents took us out for an adults only dinner.

We got the boys and came home for bath time. Crocker could not wait to get into the tub!!! He was trying his hardest to throw his little leg over the side.

After baths, Max played a little paint with his Grandpa.

Christmas Trip Day 5

We left Kansas at 6 am and headed to Tennessee. We arrived about 5:30 pm.

The boys (and their mom) were so glad be get out of the car. ha! Max's balloons were waiting for him and both boys enjoyed running around.

Max had to get to work not too long after we arrived. His job was putting the ornaments on the Christmas tree.
He would put one on and Crocker was just as quick to take one off.

Granny and Papa came over to visit.

Crocker found a new friend before he went to bed. Santa became a favorite because of his bell that jingled.

Max's hard work. I love how the ornaments stop part way up. That is as high as he could reach while standing on his chair.

Sheldon and I also celebrated out 4 year anniversary this day. We exchanged gifts at home before we left, but he surprised me with my annual flowers.

Christmas Trip Day 4

We all got up and the Grandpa H had to leave to go back home.

Max and Crocker opened their Christmas gifts from their great grandparents.

Max loves his car track!!!

We just hung around the rest of the day talking and playing games.

That night, we got ready and went to see the baby calf 1 more time.

Max was really excited because he was going to get to feed the calf a bottle.

They mixed up the bottle and Crocker tried to steal a drink.

We bundled the kids up and headed outside. They each took a turn riding the calf.

Then, Max was able to feed her a bottle. It was such a fun experience for him.

We finished out the night talking and playing games.

Christmas Trip Day 3

Today we headed out to see a 1 week old calf. Max was thrilled and could not wait to get started.

Sheldon loves dogs and was greeted by Reggie.

We went into the trailer and Max was a little nervous. He loved petting the calf.

Then, he gave her a hug and kiss.

Courtney spent the day with us and led us to the best burger place for lunch.

We came back to the house and Max went right for the tramoline.

Crocker loved the stairs and we had to keep them gated at all times.

My boys love to eat and this picture cracks me up. Sheldon got a piece of cake and by the time he got back to the table, Crocker was begging for a bite and Max was in his lap.

Christmas Day

After sleeping in, the boys got up and saw what Santa brought them.
He brought a new couch for Max and a couch for Crocker. They were excited and Crocker climbed right up on his.

Sheldon made french toast for breakfast and then the boys sat down to open their presents from Sheldon and I.

Max got a Leap Frog movie, but his favorite gift was a Handy Manny flashlight.

Crocker got a sing a ma jig.

Max with all his gifts.

Crocker with all his gifts.

After presents, we settled down and watched Horton Hears a Who.

Max liked it, but Crocker would not sit still long enough to watch any of it. He wanted to play with his new toys.

The boys took a long nap while Sheldon and I watched A Christmas Story and White Christmas. Max got up and finished it with is.

After both kids were up, Sheldon and the boys had a wrestling match. I thought they were too rough, but Sheldon made it. ha!

We had such a good day watching movies, playing with new toys, and staying in our pj's all day.
