Christmas Eve

We have such a fun day of watching movies, playing, and spending time together.

Max helped me make cornbread muffins for lunch. Crocker was right there wishing he could help.

We had roast, potatoes, carrots, corn, and cornbread for our lunch.

The boys took good naps and then we headed to church. We took a few pictures before we left.

I told Sheldon and Max to make a funny face.

We drove around looking at lights after church. Then we headed home and the boys opened 1 present each.

They got new pj's. This picture really sums up our lives now. Max has calmed down and Crocker is everywhere and into everything!

Sheldon read "The First Christmas" and I read "The Night Before Christmas".

Max went outside with his reindeer food.

He left cookies and raisins out for Santa so he would not be hungry.

Crocker went on to bed and Max stayed up late watching Christmas movies with Sheldon and I.

Max never talks about Santa when you ask him about Christmas. He knows who Santa is and that he will bring a present, but that's about it. When anyone asks him about Christmas, he is quick to tell them it is Jesus's birthday and all about him.
We went to church tonight and his teacher asked if he was ready for Christmas. I was expecting him to tell her that it was Jesus's birthday and he was going to have a cake. He told her that Santa was going to come and bring him presents.
Sheldon and I walked off and just started laughing. Max totally surprised us with his answers.

Looks like so much fun! I love all the pictures...they're so expressive it's too cute! Such fun traditions...can't wait to do some of the same things with my son. :)

I don't know why Sheldon would not make a funny face when you asked him and Max to (number 4) LOL
Looks like a good day was had by all. I liked the reindeer food!
