Max's last day of school was today. He had a year full of fun and learning. His teacher has been better than I ever imagined a teacher could be. She has been supportive and fun, but at the same time has given great rules and set boundaries. Max learned so many valuable things this year.

C's Last Day
Crocker had his last day of preschool for the year on Wednesday.
He just loved loved going to his 3 morning a week school. He learned quite a bit and he had fun playing with his friends. He grew up so much this year. He looked like so little in August and now it looks like he has lost a lot of the "baby" he had in him.

Pre K Graduation
Max graduated from PreK this afternoon. He has grown by leaps and bounds this year. We are so so glad that we decided to send him to school.
I took a couple of pictures of him this morning before I took him to school.
I went to school a little early to get him ready. He looked so cute. He was so thrilled to be graduating and be with his best buddies.
The teachers made a slideshow of pictures throughout the year. It played during the ceremony.
They also had yearbook pictures up for the parents to look at.
They all walked in the auditorium.
I was able to video him receiving his certificate. The superintendent and the principal are to the right. His teacher hands him his certificate and the assistant teacher moved his tassel over.
They had a little reception afterwards and Max and his buddy were thrilled to get a cupcake!
Max had such a great day and we are so so proud of him!

Gymnastics Recital
Max has been taking a gymnastic class 1x a week since school started. He has really enjoyed it and yesterday was their recital.
Sheldon and I had to chuckle at him because he is just not coordinated at all. Some of the kids could really do the round offs and cartwheels so well. He could not hardly get off the ground.
They also did strength exercises and he was so solid during all of them. The other kids would be having trouble and he was just solid as a rock.
He is in a maroon shirt and black shorts in the pictures.
He really enjoyed gymnastics this year, but I know we are all ready for summer break!

Kansas Trip
A couple of weekends ago, we made a quick trip up to Kansas.
Max got brave and climbed a tree way out. He had to have a little help getting down from Dad.
We stopped at eat at Freddy's and it was so good. It has become a family favorite!
The big boys hopped on the 4 wheeler as soon as we arrived and had a blast!
As usual, the boys had the best time roaming free and running around. It always makes Sheldon and I want to buy acreage and move to the country!

Tuesday
Max has a gymnastics class once a week. Sometimes the little boys and I run errands or watch a movie in the car while we wait. Today the weather was so nice that we went to the park to play.
Both of Max's front teeth are loose. One of them has kinda been hanging on because he was scared to pull it out. His teacher suggested letting him bite a laffy taffy. We happened to have one here from leftover Easter candy, so we gave it a try after school.
Crocker had a blast and even Eli was climbing all over the play set.
He bit into the candy a couple of times and his tooth was so so loose. He started crying because he was so scared to have it come out all the way.
He finally let me take it out and he was so thrilled. He even put the tooth under his pillow for the Tooth Fairy.
When he lost the bottom 2 teeth, he was scared to death of the Tooth Fairy and wouldn't dare leave his tooth out anywhere in the house for her to find.
He was so thrilled to wake up and find the money the tooth fairy left for him.

Comparisons
Eli is usually a really happy guy who just goes with the flow.
He is not happy whenever I leave him or go out of his sight for a few minutes. It usually results in tears and cuddles.
Last week, Sheldon had to go to a trade show. One night, they went out to a fancy restaurant. I just had to laugh at our dining arrangements back at home.
This isn't a comparison, but a cute one of my boys before church on Sunday. I love love matching outfits and hopefully I can keep it up another year or so before Max (and Sheldon) put a stop to it!
