Big Eater
Crocker has been learning how to feed himself with a spoon.
He is a little messy and usually decides that his hand does a better job than his spoon.
This particular night, he really loved his dinner. He just ate and ate and ate. When he was finished, I had the kitchen clean and Max had already had his bath.

Lessons
Max went for a trial lesson of karate and gymnastics this past week.
Crocker played in the play area while we waited.
Max really liked karate.
I do not have any pictures of gymnastics, but he loved it! They did handstands, front and back rolls, and jumped on a big trampoline. He was a pro at the trampoline!

15 Month Old Well Baby
Crocker went to the doctor for a check up today.
He weighs 23.4 pounds (25-50%) and is 31 inches long.(25-50%)
She was not concerned about him not being a full time walker. If he is not walking by 18 months, then we will see about seeking other help.
While we waited, he played with this toy. He stood and played it for the longest time! He really loved it and I should look into getting him one for home!
We went back to the room and he rolled his car around while we waited on the doctor.
Then, we played a little peek a boo.
He is doing well and learning new things everyday. The doctor was pleased with his progress and we go back at 2 years old!

Happenings
Max is doing so well at school. We finished up the letter A this week. We have also been working on recognizing numbers and counting. He is a pro at counting objects!
He can write an A and it is legible.
His favorite activity was gluing Apple Jacks in the outline of Upper and lower case A's.
Crocker is walking more and more, but still is not a full time walker. He is having to wear his shoes full time in the house to help his walking and he doesn't seem to mind.
He is really enjoying Legos and is starting to build towers.
He is doing some school work and seems to enjoy it. Sheldon built him this booster seat and I am so glad to have him out of a highchair!
Sheldon has been able to be home before bedtime lately and the boys have love it! They have spent a lot of time on our extra bed singing and laughing!

First Day
Max and I started our 1st official homeschool day today. We did the calendar, weather, and started our work on the letter A.
Max can already recognize all of his letters and knows 75% of the letter sounds. So, today was easy for him.
He outlined the letter A with cubes.
He colored a picture of an apple tree. We are working on staying inside the lines.
Then, he traced the sentence.
We also sang, worked on number recognition, and counted.
Max did so well today and I hope every day is this easy!

Special Date
I have been planning to take Max on a special date for awhile and today was the big day. He woke up this morning so excited to go on his date. It was the first thing out of his mouth.
We got dressed up in our nice clothes. He even picked to wear dress pants instead of jeans. :)
He got Sheldon to give him some money. Sheldon only had $1.00, so he told Max that I would take care of the rest. ha!
Then, we were off to the movies. I teared up in the car a few times because he was so sweet and kept telling me how happy and excited he was for his special day.
For our date, we went to see Tangled. We had popcorn, candy, and Sprite. The movie was so cute and we both liked it.
After our date, we went home and picked up Crocker and Sheldon. We had some errands to run and then Sheldon took us out to eat. Max was happy at dinner, he just has a mouth full of bread.
I am so thankful for days like today when memories are made. I am so glad that I was able to take Max on a date. It made him feel so special and I am already looking forward to the next one!

Jokester
My mom sent me these Valentine blocks recently. I have them in our bathroom on the counter. They say cute little things like love, kiss, and hugs.
Occasionally, they say this.
Ha! I have never seen anyone switch them up, but Crocker can't even reach the counter and if Max is spelling works correctly then he is a little genius!

Popcorn
Popcorn is doing well. He recently celebrated his 4th birthday. He was treated to a breakfast of bacon.
His days are spent looking out the window, running from the kids, sitting in my lap, and cleaning Crocker's teeth when we are not looking.
He is still a good bed partner to Sheldon and I and barks at anything that moves outside.

13-15 Months
Crocker is now 15 months old. He is very busy and into everything. He is still not walking, but cruising, pushing his walker, and crawling everywhere.
If there is a mess to be made, he is going to be the one making it.
His new favorite activity is climbing. He climbs on anything and everything.
He loves to climb up into Max's bed and play.
Then, he uses his walker to climb out.
He is talking more everyday. His favorite words are mama, daddy, Max, bubba, more, hi, night night, and bye.
He loves oatmeal, yogurt, animal crackers, grilled cheese, cereal bars, applesauce, bananas, fruit bars, donut holes, and spaghetti.
He loves to kiss, give five, and blow kisses.
He has a mouthful of teeth and loves to show them off.
He is going to Mother's Day Out 2x a week and they always tell me what a good napper he is.
He still takes 2 naps a day (He is starting to phase into 1 nap.) when he is home and goes to bed around 6:30 pm.
He loves to play with blocks, play farm, run cars around on the floor, and get into drawers.
He loves Sesame Street and will sit still for a few minutes when it is on.
He is wearing an 18 month in pants and an 18 month in shirts.

Homeschooling
After much deliberation and prayer, we have decided to start homeschooling Max. I have been looking into the schools where we live and was not impressed. So, for the time being Max will be doing Pre-school homeschool.
We have not officially started, but have been doing a few activites. Max really loves it and I hope his enthusiasm will continue.
Crocker threw all of his toys on the ground and had moved onto snack time.
Max's finished work.
Sheldon has also been in on the action.
Crocker clapping for Max.
