Today Max rolled from his back to his side. Then, he got hung up on his arm. He is getting closer to being able to roll all the way over!

My Baby

I have a feeling I will not be seeing a gummy grin much longer. Max has been drooling so much and at the top of his mouth, you can see the outline of a tooth. Hopefully, it will come soon. He is too cranky.

Baby Shower

My sister had a baby shower on Saturday. It was really fun and everyone was excited to see Ryne.

These are just plastic silverware holders from a restaurant, but Max thought they were the greatest toys.

A New Trick

This week, Max has mastered doing something new. He can blow raspberries. He thinks that it is so fun and does it off and on all day long. It is so funny. He really thinks it is fun to blow them while he is eating his oatmeal. He waits until he has a mouthful and then here it all comes.

Break In...

A few nights ago, I woke up so scared. It sounded like someone was pounding on the walls trying to get in our house. I was confused because Popcorn was not barking. He was sound asleep and he barks at the slightest noise. I got up and started out the bedroom door and I heard the sound again. It was coming from Max's room. I went in his room and quickly figured out what the noise was. He had learned to lift his legs and slam them down on his bed as loud as he could.

I found the perfect thing for Popcorn. This would really scare the squirrels, dogs, cats, birds, and joggers away from our house!

Today is my sister's 29th birthday. She has been freaking out all week about it. It's just one step closer to 30 and she thinks that is the end of the world. Just think Kimberly, you have another whole year to think about the dreadful old age to come!

Presents for Max

Max's Great Grandma and Grandpa Hoesli sent him a package this week. It had the cutest outfit and puppy, among other things, in it. The outfit looks darling on him and totally brings out his blue eyes.
Here is what she wrote about he puppy...
"There is a story behind the puppy. When Sheldon was between 2-3 years old, we went to Denver and we took him with us. He had learned Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star and he sang it ALL the way to Denver. The only time he would stop is when he would see a winmill. He would get excited about that."
I thnk that is such a cute story and the puppy plays Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star. Maybe Max will learn it, or at least some of it, before we go up to Kansas this next winter.

I was feeding Max oatmeal when my dad called today. I went to answer the phone and Max threw his bowl of oatmeal on the floor. He has never done this before, so I didn't even think anything about it. Now, I know.
Anyways, Popcorn decided that he would clean it up for me. Good Ole Popcorn!

You spell it P-O-P-C-O-R-N.

I swear, Popcorn is the most jealous little dog. Last night, I was feeding Max his cereal and look who wanted in on the action.

p.s. While Max was eating, he decided to suck his thumb and rub his eyes. That's why he is so messy!

Nap Time

This afternoon, I put Max down for his nap. I guess he was not quite ready to go to sleep. I came back in a few minutes later and he was laughing, talking, and playing with his hands. We took a few pictures, then off to sleep he went.

What in the World?

This morning, Max was playing and I took my chance and went to the bathroom. When I came back, I found him like this.




He had one sock on and the other was missing. (I know he has no pants on, he didn't when I left)hee hee
I could not figure out what happened to his other sock. It was no where around him.
Then, I saw it.



I guess Popcorn took it off his foot and wanted to play with it!
