Pumpkin Patch Fun

This year, we have been to the pumpkin patch 3 different times. Sheldon and I took the boys one Sunday afternoon and then each of the big boys classes went on a field trip. I think we are pumpkin patched out until next year!

A couple of Sundays ago, we went with some friends to the local pumpkin patch. The kids loved running on top of the hay bales.




Here is Crocker.



Max and his buddy were way over on the far side.



Later that week, Crocker's preschool class went to the pumpkin patch. They got to side on a horse and Crocker thought that was awesome!

Max's Birthday

On Max's birthday, his class went to the pumpkin patch. Sheldon was able to be home with the little boys, so I got to go too! We went on a hayride, picked pumpkins, shot a corn cannon, had a picnic lunch, and so much more! All of the kids had a blast!












When we got home, Max opened his presents. The only thing he really wanted was a skateboard. He was so so excited when he opened it and we all went outside for him to practice. He is getting pretty good at it!

Nanny and Granny Visit

At the beginning of October, my mom and aunt came down for a visit. We celebrated Max and Crocker's birthdays, played games, and just had fun spending time together.
Sheldon and I even snuck out for a late night date. We were all so sad when they had to leave, but can't wait for the next visit!

 

Max's 6th Birthday Party

Max and his best friend were born 1 day apart, so it just made sense to have a joint 6th birthday party. We had a fall festival. The kids wore costumes, bobbed for apples, played bean bag toss, and painted pumpkins. The weather was perfect and all the kids seemed to have a great time.

My boys went as Spiderman, Bumblebee, and Mickey Mouse.



I got a couple of pictures of the decor, but I missed getting a picture of the cupcakes.



Some of the adults dressed in costume as well. I had grand plans of making Sheldon and I costumes, but I cut the fabric wrong. We live 2 hours from the fabric store, so a quick trip was out of the question. Sheldon found an old Army uniform, so he was able to still dress up. Max was so so thrilled that Sheldon dressed up too.



Eli was right in the middle of the party festivities. His favorite part was the apples. I usually cut his apples into small pieces, but he ate 2-3 whole apples. Every time I turned around, he had a new one in his hand.

Happy Birthday Max!

Six years ago, Sheldon and I became parents. Max has been such a blessing in our lives.

He is a smart, caring, and funny boy. He loves to play with his friends, go hunting and fishing with his Dad, and play with his brothers.

We are so proud of the young man he is becoming and are so thankful for him!

Crocker's Birthday!

Last week, we had fun celebrating our favorite 4 year old.

He did not want a birthday party. He wanted to go eat pizza and ice cream, so that's what we did. We invited his best buddy and they had the best time.



We took chocolate cupcakes, apples, and chocolate milk to Preschool on his actual birthday. I had him take his white shirt off and before I knew it all the other boys were eating shirtless too!



 He had such a good birthday and we had fun loving on our boy!

4 years ago, in Wyoming, Sheldon and I welcomed our 2nd son into the world. He has been a spit-fire from the very beginning. He is full of joy and he loves his brothers. He loves cars, guns, movies, pizza, candy, and chocolate milk. He has brought so much happiness into our lives and we are so thankful for him!
