Just like Daddy
Sheldon always, always, always rolls up his pant legs. It does not matter if they are jeans or dress pants. He just does not like stepping on them if they are too long. I dressed Max yesterday and his jeans were a little too long, so I rolled them up. A little later, I walked by him and I immediately thought about Sheldon. It is funny how they are alike without even realizing it.

YAHOO!!!
I got an update today on when Sheldon is coming home. Their replacements will be there in July and Sheldon's batallion will depart no later than August 6!!! YAY!!! Can't Wait!
Also, since being in Iraq Sheldon's company has:
flown nearly 5000 hours since the start of the deployment. We have executed nearly 50 pre-planned Air Assaults resulting in over 200 detainees. Our Company also executed the largest Air Assault in the entire Brigade with 8 Blackhawks (A Company), 2 Chinooks, 2 Apaches, 2 Kiowa Warriors, and moved almost 400 people for the Operation. The purpose was to clear an entire area for US troops to establish an outpost for future operations. These achievements exemplify the standard of excellence and level of experience we have in our Company.
Good Job Guys!

1/2 way there...
We are officially more than halfway through this deployment. Sheldon has been gone for about 8 1/2 months. We have about 6 1/2 - 7 more to go. He still will not be home for a few more months, but at least will be on US soil.
As I look back on the months since May, time has really flown past. It does not seem like he has been gone almost 9 months. It seems like just yesterday we were in GA saying goodbye. Hopefully, the next 7 months will go by just as fast.
