No Luck

Well, I am so bummed. I thought for sure that Max would be born yesterday. He proved me wrong. It would have been the perfect time. My doctor was on call and Sheldon had the day off. But, today I am still pregnant and I am 39 weeks.

Reunited at Last...

After almost 5 months, Sheldon and I have been reunited. Sort of....
Max's Flat Daddy came today in the mail and it is so cute! It is a life-sized picture of Sheldon. Here are some pictures.

I have been looking for a swing for Max. My aunt mentioned it at her work and found me a really good deal. One of her co workers recently had a baby and he refuses to sit in the swing. So, I bought it for $20.

Today I ate ravioli for lunch. I finished and set the bowl on the table. I went to go and do something real fast and came back to Popcorn standing in a chair, licking the bowl. He is so funny. Here is the aftermath.

A Few Updates...

1. Our house is FINALLY done!!! Thank goodness! It has been a long process with a few setbacks, but it looks so nice and I know we will be so happy there. We could not have done it without my dad because I really know nothing about remodeling a house, so a big thank you to him!!! Also, we put my dad on a plane to Savannah this morning at 6 am and he just called and all of our stuff in our storage unit is loaded and it is on the way back to Tennessee as I type!!!
Popcorn was so confused and tired when I got up this morning at 3 to get ready to drive to the airport. Here he is.





2. I thought the other day it was time for Max to be born. My mom came home from work and we went to the hospital, but it was a false alarm. They monitored me for 1 1/2 hours and sent me home. Here is Popcorn anxiously watching us leave anticipating a little brother.



3. Sheldon is doing really good. We get to talk everyday, which is comforting to me. He has bought a refigerator and microwave, so he can eat and drink when he wants. He sent me a CD with pictures on it, but it was sent back to him because it needs a customs form. So, next week I will post pictures of him. Also, he cannot get on Yahoo to check his email for some reason. So, if you send him an email and don't get a response he isn't ignoring you. He just can't get in his email.

37 1/2 Weeks

Well, it is getting closer and closer to time to have Max. Here we are at 37 1/2 weeks. I went to the doctor yesterday and he weighs about 7-7.5 pounds, so hopefully he will come soon!

I'm A Winner

Well, I won $50 in the lottery on a $2 scratch off ticket. Sheldon has been telling me to take up a new hobby while he is gone and I think I might have found one. haha Just Kidding

Happy Birthday

Today is my father-in-law, Mark's birthday. Happy Birthday!!!!! We love you and hope you have a great day!!!

Just Another Days Work

Today Sheldon and his crew had a special guest that they flew in the Blackhawk.




Yep. he flew Anderson Cooper around. He is in Iraq doing some coverage of the war. He is keeping a blog about it. You can read about it here.

Tough Day

I was talking to Sheldon on Yahoo Messenger today and he was telling me about his day. This is what happened.

He decided he would get out of the aircraft and go pick some fresh pears at this place where they were at. So he got out and walked over to where they were. As he was walking the grass was getting higher and it was really thick. He got closer and you couldn't even see the ground. He got right up next to this pear tree and reached out to grab a pear, but he was not close enough. So, he took one more step and fell into this ditch that is full of waist high water. He was soaked from my neck down. Then, he had to stay in wet clothes and ride back to the post which was almost 4 hours.

Needless to say, he didn't have a good day.

Sheldon said that this was taken on 9-8-07 right before he left to fly.

Yesterday, was Max's and my baby shower. My aunt and other ladies from Bradford hosted it. It was so fun. Here are a few pictures.
