A Few Quick Updates
Sheldon is doing good. They got Internet in their tents and it has been nice to talk to him everyday. He called today and he is moving into a trailor, so that is great!!! His Internet will be down for a few days until they can get the dish moved. Other than working and the heat, he is doing good.
Tonight was my last night of classes! I start back the last week of August. I am so glad to have a little break.
I had an OB appointment today. Max is doing good. He is growing and moving around like crazy. I have a feeling that he is going to be a very busy little boy.
Here is a rug that we got for his room. He will be able to play cars on it.

Home Sweet Home
Our house is getting remodeled as we speak. The contractor is busy tearing out and building back. One good thing about the town is that one Friday a month they will pick up anything off the street in front of your house. They take a big crane thing around and pick everything up. Here is what is in front of our house.
Only 2 more weeks until it is picked up. Good thing that the neighbors do not mind.

New Adventures of Popcorn
Today I was in my bedroom doing homework. Popcorn was under the bed chewing on a bone or at least I thought he was. His bone was under there, but he found something better to chew on. When he hadn't come out in about 30 minutes, I looked under there. He had found a blue ink pen and chewed it up. Luckily, it didn't get on the carpet. Just on Popcorn. His paws and beard are blue.
Corn and the Carseat
Max's car seat came the other day in the mail. It is a car seat and infant carrier in one. We ordered it from Target. I got it out of the box and it was kinda heavy. I thought I would put Popcorn in it to see how heavy it would be with a baby. I thought Popcorn would be good because he weighs 8 pounds now. Well, I got him in it and it was really heavy.
I was telling Sheldon about it and he said I was a sissy and needed to toughen up. I guess I need to start lifting weights.

How I felt when Sheldon and I married!!!
A young couple got married and went on their honeymoon. When they got back, the bride immediately called her mother.
"Well", said her mother, "so how was the honeymoon?"
"Oh mama", she replied, "the honeymoon was wonderful! So romantic."
......Suddenly she burst out crying. "But, mama, as soon as we
returned, Sam started using the most horrible language --things I'd
never heard before! I mean, all these awful 4-letter words! You've got
to take me home! PLEASE MAMA!"
"Sarah, Sarah", her mother said, "calm down! You need to stay with
your husband and work this out. Now, tell me, what could be so awful?
WHAT 4-letter words?"
"Please don't make me tell you, mama," wept the daughter. "I'm so
embarrassed, they're just too awful! COME GET ME, PLEASE!!"
"Darling, baby, you must tell me what has you so upset. Tell your
mother these horrible 4-letter words!"
Sobbing, the bride said, "Oh, Mama..., he used words like: dust, wash,
iron, and cook..."
"I'll pick you up in twenty minutes," said the mother.

Plane
Sheldon sent me this video and wanted me to post it. His helicopter was sitting right by the runway. That's why the plane comes to close.

Conjunctivitis...
I never thought I would say this, but Popcorn has conjunctivitis or pink eye. I never would have though that dogs could get it, but I guess they can. He feels fine, but his left eye is droopy and glazed over looking. He will be looking better in about 7 days according to the vet.

Sheldon's Blogging
Also, Sheldon has learned how to write on the blog. There is no telling what he will write about, so prepare yourselves.
OB appointments
Today I had 2 Ob appointments. The first was with my regular OB doctor. I was told that my triple screen tested on the positive side for having a baby with Down's Syndrome.
I went to my second appointment later on. It was with the OB high risk. They did an invasive ultrasound and an Echo on the baby's heart. They could not find any evidence that the baby has Down's. It looked totally normal. Everything is exactly as if should be. The only way to be 100% is to have an amnio. I chose not to have that because the baby appears to be fine. The amnio has a higher chance of putting me into labor than the baby having Down's. So, that has been an answer to alot of prayers!!!
Also, Sheldon and I know the sex of the baby. Go to this link if you want to know.
http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20039189,00.html
I know that several people who read the blog do not want to know the sex of the baby. Sheldon has mentioned that he cannot download pictures that I send him on email. He can see them on the blog. There will be pictures of the nursery and other things related to the sex of the baby. If you do not want to know, you might need to quit reading until October and then you can catch back up! Thanks.

Me in Iraq
Well hello everyone. This will be the first time I have used this blogspot. Just to let everyone know, I'm doing good. It has been hot here of course. On the lighter side of things, I can't wait to go on leave. I am so exited. Flying hasn't been too bad lately. We keep getting weathered in, so that's good. I get tired of doing it. Well until next time see ya.

News...
Many of you know that the Hoesli's have bought a house. We are not moving in for awhile though. In 2 weeks the construction will start. We are getting it painted, new floors, and new appliances. Plus a few other things. Then, I have to get all of our stuff here from Savannah. I am still trying to figure that one out.
Anyways, I was in my dad's office picking some stuff out. Popcorn did not want to feel left out. He wanted to conduct official business too.
Other than the house, I am just going to school. I go 4 night a week, so that is kinda tough. It is just for 4 weeks though, then I will get new classes.
Sheldon is doing good. He has been really working hard. He is getting burnt out, but that is understandable. Please keep him in your prayers.
Here he is having a little too much fun with a foam sword that he made.

Happy 4th of July
Happy 4th of July. I hope everyone has had a wonderful day. I also hope that everyone has taken a moment to remember that freedom isn't free and has lifted up the troops.
The Soldiers Life
Author: SSgt. Scott E Hilligoss
The soldiers life is not for all
A soldier must be willing to give his all
He is overworked and underpaid
A truer patriot was never made
Ready to go at any time
Wherever there is trouble or the first sign
His courage and honor are unsurpassed
Ready and willing to complete the task
Travelling to lands both near and far
He stands his post and looks at the stars
Wondering what he might have done
If he had not chosen to carry a gun
Remember the next time that you are driving by
And see the flag flying proud and high
That somewhere out there a soldier stands
Weary and cold in a foreign land
Protecting our country from our foes
Standing tall and proud come rain or snow.

Growing Up
Tomorrow Sheldon and I will be homeowners. I am signing the papers to buy our first house. I never would have imagined that we would be buying a house while Sheldon was deployed. I was going to live with my parents and save money to buy a house when he got back. Well, this house is just too good of a deal to pass up.
My aunt and uncle moved into a house right behind my parents. We are buying their house. It has 3 bedrooms, 1 1/2 baths, kitchen, living room, dining room, and utility room. It also has a shop in the backyard that Sheldon can use to work on his 4 wheeler (when he gets a new one).
