One Year Down

All I can say is Wow. I can hardly believe that Sheldon has been deployed for a year. The time has passed so fast, yet it has been dragging on and on. We have had so many changes in our life in this past year. We had a beautiful son, bought and remodeled a home, and grown closer than ever.
I can honestly say that this year has been the hardest year of my life. I never would have dreamed that I would be in this situation, but I would not change anything about it either. Sheldon and I have grown so close this past year and I am so glad for that. I know that I cannot live without him and I am so grateful for all the sacrifices he makes for his family. I am so relieved that we will never again have to go through a deployment.

I am so grateful that the Lord has been with Sheldon and all of his batallion watching over them and keeping them safe. Please continue to pray for their safety until they are home again. It is officially count down time!!!

Better than the Beach?

What could be better than the beach?
Rolling under the coffee table at your Nana and Grandpa's house over and over and screaming for someone to drag you out so you can do it all over again.

Thank You Max

This week we were protected every night by Max. We had a 2 bedroom condo, with Max and I sharing a room. I knew that neither one of us would get any sleep listening to each other all night. So, I rolled Max's crib into the hallway. He guarded the door all week. He did a good job. No one even tried to get in.

Florida Day 7

Today was our last day to go to the beach and the pool. Max went back in the ocean and he did not scream this time.



He has sand toys, but he did not hardly play with them. He would much rather get a fist full of sand and then suck his fingers.

Double Digits

Sheldon reminded me the other day that we are nearing the end of this deployment. We have less than 100 days left! YAY!!!

Florida Day 6

We went to the Gulfarium today. It is a smaller version of Sea World.
