3 Weeks Old

Today Max went to the doctor for a check up. He weighs 9 pounds and 4 ounces. He is now 21 1/8 inches long. He is in the 50th percentile for both height and weight. He is doing good and goes back in 5 weeks!

Tonight when we were eating dinner, Max was upset that he was not sitting at the table. So, I decided to let him join us.

Road Trip

Yesterday, Max took his first road trip. We went to Memphis. We had lots of fun going to Olive Garden and Babies R Us. Then, we stopped for Max to see his Aunt KK and UB. Pretty soon, he will have a new little baby boy cousin to play with. Just 3 more months.

First Bath

Max's umbilical cord finally fell off, so tonight he was able to have his first real bath. It relaxed him so much that he peed right in the middle of it. I think he enjoyed it.

First Day to Church

Today, Max went to church for the first time. He did okay, but he woke up halfway through and started crying.

Max is just growing so fast. It is hard to believe that he is over a week old. Time really does fly by!

Updates

1. I am starting to finally feel better. Having a c-section is no fun, but things are getting easier everyday. I am able to sleep in the bed instead of in a chair, so things are looking up.

2. Max is doing really good. He is so cute. Here are a few pictures.




3. Sheldon is doing good and counting down the days until November. He sent me a CD with a few pictures on it. Here are some of them.

Meeting Max...

Yesterday, Sheldon was able to meet Max for the first time. He wasn't able to hold him, but he could see him and talk to him.
We found out that we were chosen for the video teleconferencing on Tuesday afternoon. The local paper came out to do a story. You can go to this website and read it.

Max is Here!!!

Max William arrived on Wednesday, October 10 at 11:46 pm. He weighed 8 pounds 6 ounces and was 21 inches long. He has a head full of hair and he looks just like Sheldon.
