We have been keeping ourselves pretty busy and gearing up for Christmas.

Sheldon and I celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary on Dec 17. We had a great day. Both big boys went to school, so we took Eli and went out to breakfast. Sheldon kept up the tradition of 1 rose per year of marriage.

One rose wants to hide.

We had a great day and I am so thankful for him.

Eli has taken 3 steps on his own (Dec. 17), so I have no doubt he will be walking soon. He is cruising around and can crawl super fast.

Max and Crocker have been spending their time playing legos and playing games on their leap pad/ipad that I can't even play.

We are enjoying the last week of school and then it's out for 2 weeks. I am looking forward to having all the boys home.

The school shooting in Newtown has really shaken me. I taught 1st grade and I cannot imagine the horror the school went through.
Max is the age of some of the victims and I cannot imagine getting that call. When I dropped him off at school on Monday, the tears just fell.
I feel so bad for the families and hope that they can feel all the prayers from the nation on their behalf.

Fun Weekend

Sheldon has been super busy at work the past couple of months. He has been working long days, so we haven't been able to spend a lot of time as a family.
He was able to take Saturday off and we went into the big city near our home. We were gone all day and we had the best time. We shopped, ate at our favorite restaurant, and really enjoyed all of our time together.

Date with #2

Crocker and I went on a little day date today. It was spur of the moment, but we had the best time. We went to the grocery store and then out to lunch.

He had the best time in the car singing his 2 favorite songs over and over. We turned the music up loud and he just sang his heart out!

I took a couple pictures of his favorite songs, so I wouldn't forget in the months to come.

He wanted to eat lunch at Pizza Hut, so that's what we did. We colored, ate pizza, and had such a fun lunch.

Crocker and I had such a good time and I am so thankful for a date with my second son.

Eli- 10 months

Eli turned 10 months old on Nov. 25.

 Photobucket

He is so so close to walking. He is cruising around like a pro and standing for a few seconds at a time.

He has to eat 1st thing in the morning when he wakes up. After he eats, he gets his diaper changed and dressed for the day. I have tried and tried to make him wait for his bottle and he is not a happy guy.

He is finally feeding himself finger foods.

He is interacting with the big boys more and more.

He is wearing 12-18 month old clothes and a size 4 diaper.

He is sleeping 5:30 or 6:00pm to 6:30 or 7:00am. He takes an hour morning nap from 8:30-9:30 and a 2-3 hour afternoon nap. He goes down at 11:00 and is up anywhere from 1:00-1:45.

Catching Up

The boys aren't allowed to have a gun (that shoots real bullets) until they are 4. Crocker has been a little bitter about that for awhile. Sheldon surprised him and bought him a BB gun. He was so thrilled and his year was made.

I had to go to the doctor one day last week and Eli went to the babysitter. I brought him home afterward and he was crawling around. The next thing I knew, he was sound asleep on the floor.

Crocker got in trouble one afternoon for being mean to his brothers. He had to sit in time out and was not happy.
He makes me laugh so hard in this picture.

Photobucket

This is a common sight these days. Eli wants to play with things he shouldn't and he does not like to be told no.

After Max had the stomach virus, Crocker had it. He laid around watching movies and looking pitiful for a few days.

Thanksgiving 2012

Whew! I haven's blogged in so long, I just don't know where to begin!
I will just start with Thanksgiving Day and then move along from there.

We were going to go up to Kansas for Thanksgiving, but Sheldon had to work on Wednesday. So, we just stayed home. We had a pretty low key day. We watched the parade, ate a big dinner, and just stayed at home and played with the boys.

I made the boys shirts, but didn't even get a picture of them wearing them. I just wasn't feeling good and it turns out I had the stomach bug that the big boys had during the week.
