Telescopes

Max is always making his hands into telescopes to look for things. I found these empty rolls today and he was thrilled. He colored on them and then begin to hunt for things. His daddy was his helper and they had fun!

Up to Daddy

Since I have been so sick, things have been left up to Sheldon. He has been a wonderful Mr. Mom. I know he can't wait until I am up to 100%.

Happy Birthday to Me

Yesterday, I turned 27.

I was so sick most of the weekend and all day yesterday. Between the doctor visit, a shot, and medicine I am feeling better.

Needless to say, I did not do much on my birthday.

Sheldon sent me these beautiful flowers.



I am one lucky girl.

Nana and Grandpa

We had so much fun with my parents when they were here. On Sunday, we went to church. We came home and my mom and I went to the movies. We ordered pizza for dinner and celebrated my birthday.







My dad found a "magic book" and it was so cute. Max would put his hand on the book. My dad had his recite, " I wish I may, I wish I might, have some M&M's today." Max would open the book and between the pop up pages, there would be candy. Ha. He was so shocked each time.




On Monday, we got up and went to eat breakfast before my parents left.



We miss them already and can't wait to see them again. They really surprised me and I am so thankful that they planned such a fun weekend.

Waterpark

My Mom and Dad planned a fun fun day for us. We went to Galveston Island to the water park.



They rented a cabana and it was so nice.



It was back in the shade. We took Crocker's pack and play. It was PERFECT for him to play and nap in.


Max Man had the BEST time! He rode the lazy river/white water rapids with my Dad and Sheldon at least 10 times. He thought it was so fun!




He also rode big slides and fast water rides. He has an absolute blast.




Crocker went to the baby pool. He splashed and rode around in his tube.



We all had such a good time. It was so fun to ride the rides and spend time with our family.

SURPRISE!!!!!

This morning, I heard a knock on the door. I went to open it and there stood my Mom and Dad. I was so surprised to see them and started crying. My birthday is Tuesday and they flew in for the weekend to surprise me.
I don't know why, but I was secretly hoping they would come. After Sheldon promised and promised that they weren't I lost all hope. Little did I know.
Sheldon has been scheming with them for weeks. They did not tell anyone they were coming except him so it would be kept a secret.





Sheldon had to go to a job, so we went and ate lunch at Chick fil A. We saw the cow and Max was so excited to see the giant cow.




We came home and played around. My dad grilled for supper and it was so good.

8 months old

Crocker is 8 months old today.



He is still a happy baby. He hardly ever cries and is so easy going.
He sleeps 12-13 hours a night.
He takes 2 naps a day.
He drinks 20-24 oz of formula a day.
He is eating 3 oz of baby food for lunch and dinner.
His favorite foods are bananas and sweet potatoes.
He loves to be in the floor playing with toys.
He rolls and scoots to get anywhere he wants.
He loves toys that light up and play music.
He loves to sit up and can sit up for quite a while.
He has started jabbering constantly and laughing at himself.
He has HORRIBLE allergies and his nose is constantly running.
He still has acid reflux and we are hoping he will grow out of it.
