Party of 5

We became a family of 5 on January 25.

Eli Osborn Hoesli was born at 8:40 am. He weighed 8 pounds 14.5 ounces and was 19 3/4 inches long.

I was scheduled for a repeat c-section. Everything went smoothly until it was time for the spinal block and it would not work. They ended up having to put me to sleep. This meant that Sheldon could not be in the room and we both missed out on his birth.
Eli is doing great and I am getting along better each day.

After we got in our room and settled, my mom and aunt brought the boys up to the hospital. Max was really upset at seeing me in the bed with IV's and tubes coming out of me. In a few of the pictures, you can see that he is crying. It was so pitiful and we were both glad when all the wires and such came out.

Both Max and Crocker really love their new brother. They love to hold him and see what he is doing.

Visitors

Over the weekend, my mom and aunt flew into town. The boys and I went to meet them at the airport and we were so glad to see them.

They are going to be here for a little over a week and we are so excited.  We got up this morning, got ready, ate breakfast, and went to church.

After church, lunch, and naps we were able to Facetime Grampy. The boys were so excited to see their Grandpa.

I found these window stickers at the dollar store and the boys have been having fun sticking them on the windows and peeling them off.

New Spaces

We have been busy cleaning out the office to make a room for Eli, moving beds, and decorating new spaces.

Max moved out of his blue twin sized bed and moved into a full bed. We bought him new bedding and his Aunt had pictures framed for his airplane room. His room also became the home to all of the dress up clothes, but you cannot see them in the picture.

Sheldon had this airplane propeller in his room as a child.

Crocker moved out of his crib and into the blue twin sized bed. He got Max's old comforter and his room became home to all of the stuffed animals.
He has done so well with being out of his crib. He climbed out of his bed 1-2 times and after he learned  that you don't get up, he has been sleeping so well!

Eli's room was the office/craft room. We moved all of my sewing/crafting supplies upstairs to our closet. We are storing the computer in storage.
We moved the crib from Crocker's room and the dresser from Max's room to have furniture for Eli.
His room is a western/cowboy theme.

The red thing on the wall is a cowboy hat holder. We still need to buy a hat to hang on it. I am trying to convince Sheldon we need a cow skin rug, but he is holding out for now. :)

His dresser has a saddle and spurs on it.

We are finally ready for our newest little boy to arrive. I know Sheldon is glad to be done hanging pictures, moving furniture, assembling beds, and looking at a to do list every time he had a free moment.

Blessed

This past Sunday, our Sunday school class hosted a baby shower for us. Breakfast was served and presents were given.
We were so blessed to receive a lot of things for baby Eli.

Regular Days

Our days have been pretty regular these days. We have been cleaning out and moving furniture, decorating, and getting ready for a new baby to join our family.

Crocker sometimes finds weird things to do to entertain himself.

I like to call this picture the calm before the storm. It's the look they give when they are getting ready to see Sheldon make his move.

After they see him, the screaming and running begins.

They love playing nerf gun wars with their daddy!
