Another July Day

It has been around 45 degrees today and raining.

I would have not even have gotten out today, but Max had to go to the doctor. He has excessive ear drainage and bronchitis. His nose is running constantly and he sits around with his finger(s) shoved up there.

Ice Cream

We went to TCBY last night for a little ice cream. Max really enjoyed his Rainbow Cream.

Apparently so did Sheldon.

Today Max and I are off to the doctor. He is draining fluid from his ear and is constantly coughing.

Goodbye...

We met early for breakfast before Sheldon went to work.

After we ate, Sheldon left for work and we went to Wal-Mart for a few things. I had a doctors appointment and my mom went with me. Max and his bff stayed at our house and played. When we got home, it was time to say our goodbyes.
We had a great time and it was sad to see them go. My parents will be back in October and we are planning on going to Tennessee in December.

s

Sunday

We met my mom and aunt at their hotel for breakfast and then went to church. After church, we drove up the mountain.

Finally...

Saturday morning we woke up early, went to eat breakfast, and drove to the airport to pick up Sheldon.

We ate a quick lunch and then went to the mall.

After the mall, we hung out a while and then went to eat dinner.

On Our Way

We started our trip back to Wyoming last Thursday. We drove to Nashville and spent the night. After a long night of no sleep, we all got ready and left our hotel at 4:30 am. Our flight left Nashville at 7 am. Max did better on this flight than he ever has before. He took an hour nap and woke up confused, cried for about 5 minutes, and then played for the rest of the flight. We flew into Denver and picked up a rental car. Then, we went to Chick-fil-a to eat lunch. Max has become an expert on eating ketchup and drinking Sprite.

We got back in the car and headed to Wyoming. Max and his bff quickly fell asleep.

After about 5 hours, we arrived at our house. Max was really excited and did not know what to do first. He ran around getting up on the couch and playing with his toys.

We Are Home

We are all back in Wyoming and getting back into the groove of things. I have a lot to blog about, but here is a picture of Max. We were outside last night watching Sheldon mow the grass. Max had his mower out there and decided to take a little break. He sat down on the grass and his nose started bothering him.

Heading Home

Sheldon, Max, and I are all getting ready to head back to Wyoming. Sheldon leaves this afternoon and will finally make it home on Saturday. Max and I get back tomorrow evening. My mom and aunt are also coming to visit with Sheldon a few days before heading back.

This week, Max and I have been visiting our church friends, packing, and playing around.

The last time we flew, we took Max's car seat and he did 100 times better on the plane. The only downside was having to carry it all over the airport. We found this cart and Max really likes it. I am afraid after all of the riding he has done on it he will pitch one when we strap his carseat to it. We shall see.

Church Singing

Last night, we went to church. When Max was not running around with the other kids, he was singing songs with us out of his hymnal.

Monkeying Around

Max is all boy. He loves playing outside, running, and climbing all over everything.

Cheese

We have been working on smiling pretty for the camera. Obviously, Max needs more practice.

Happy Birthday Granny Kaye!!!

We had a little party today for Auntie Kaye's birthday. We grilled out and then went swimming. My dad got in with Max to play in the pool. Max had so much fun. He was jumping off the side and dunking his face under.

Please???

I have been trying to have Max say "please" or to do the sign for please when he wants something. He can say tons of words and can do signs for words, so I thought this would be no problem. He flat out refuses to even try to say it or try to do the sign. I even tried to give him a little gum the other afternoon to try and pull it out of him. It was a complete failure.
Here is a little glimpse of what he looked like...

Cousins

When your cousin comes to town, you get to do all sorts of fun things...

You take pictures with your Nana.

Eat snacks.

Watch Movies.

Have a bath and then play with the toys.

Looking forward to next time!

Morning Routine

Most mornings, Max and his Grandpa O go out to get the paper. Max thinks it is so fun and cannot wait to carry the paper down the driveway. Today was a real treat because it was raining.

Grocery Shopping

One day, Sheldon let Max ride in the car at the grocery store. He loved it and had so much fun. Now, it is a must that he ride in that car.

Max is going 90 miles an hour all day long. He is into everything and you have to watch him like a hawk. He loves fruits and veggies, but does not like meat very much. His favorite new words are way to go, sandals, and airplane. He is going up and down stairs really well. He still loves to go to preschool and play with his friends. He is very independent and wants to do things his way. He is still a good sleeper and sleeps 6:30pm-6:30am every night and takes a 2-3 hour nap in the afternoon. He loves to play rough, be chased, and tickled. He still loves to take a bath and splash around. He is getting cuter everyday!

Playdough Cookies

INGREDIENTS
3/4 cup butter, softened
3 ounces cream cheese
1 cup white sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
assorted colors of paste food coloring

In a bowl cream butter, cream cheese and sugar until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla; beat until smooth.

Cooking...

This morning, I made homemade cinnamon rolls. It was a lot easier than I though it would be and I ended up with 3 plate fulls.

Missing Daddy

Max is really missing his daddy. He calls out for him all the time. He loves to go and look at his pictures that are up. Not too much longer and they will be reunited.

Diaper Fun

Max emptied out his diapers out of his bag tonight. He was having the best time, so we made him a special hat.

New Table

Max and Ryne got a new table to sit, play, and eat at when they visit their grandparents. They both love Elmo, so it is perfect!

Happy 4th of July

We had lunch with family and I made a cake. Max really enjoyed himself.

25/ 26 Weeks Pregnant

This pregnancy is flying by, probably because Max keeps me running around all the time. Both of these pictures were taken on the 4th of July.

Mommy and Crocker 25 1/2 weeks.

I found this old picture. Mommy and Max 26 weeks pregnant.

No Meat...

Max is not a big meat eater. I have not found any type of meat that he just loves. He really likes vegetables and fruit. Today he had blueberries for the 1st time (not including baby food) and he LOVED them! He kept asking for moe (more).

Tractor

When Max goes outside, one of the first things he does is hop on my dad's tractor.

New Rug

Max has a car rug that he plays on all the time in his room. I wanted a fun rug for Crocker's room and I found this one. It is an aerial view from an airplane. I hope that it provides hours of fun for our boys.
